Economic Issues
Agriculture, energy, and transportation represent our past and
future economic success. We must encourage energy exploration
and research. We must invest in our farm families to keep pace in
the 21st century, and we must create the transportation
infrastructure to aid in our economic development.
Tax Issues
We limit government by limiting taxes. We encourage responsible
government by limiting taxes. The current democratic leadership
has consistently proven that higher taxes is the solution to our ills.
Let's fix global warming by taxing energy. Let's fix healthcare by
raising taxes on the middle class. North Dakota has consistently
lived within its fiscal means. It is time Washington, D.C. takes
fiscal responsibility.
National Security Issues
National Security is fundamentally the most important role of the
federal government. The current politicization of the CIA is
shameful. This is not a partisan issue. It is clear since the fall of
the Soviet Union our intelligence agencies have not evolved with
the world. History bares the facts from the first attack on the
Trade Centers to our poor intelligence leading to the Iraq War. It is
time the political leadership moves forward and evolve with the
times. After all it is our sons and daughters that will pay the price
for petty political payback.
Health Care Issues
North Dakota has consistently assumed the responsibility for
Health Care. We offer a physician-friendly state to practice
medicine. We have established a first class medical school to
educate physicians, and, our hospitals offer cutting edge services.
Nationalizing Health Care is not in our interest as North Dakotans.
Our Health Care problems are best solved here in North Dakota.
