Philosophy

I believe the role of a Congressman is to advocate three main issues: national security, the economy, and taxation. These issues must be evaluated in the context of a Congressman's employer, which is his or her constituents. Unfortunately, we have lost the ability to prioritize problems and most importantly the solutions to problems. We also have lost the ability to petition our government and leaders. Please trust that I am not a front runner, and you the citizens will have my ear.

Responsibility is the foundation of good governance. As North Dakotans, we must retain our responsibility and prerogative to ensure our future. Responsible leadership sets priorities to the form and function of government. Responsible leadership is pro-active by projecting future problems and the solution to these problems. Finally, I promise to you, the citizens of North Dakota, that your welfare will not be outsourced to Washington, D.C.
